Hi everyone, my name is Grace (she/her) and I’m currently a fourth year applied math major with a minor in physics! Outside of school life, I love doing things which relax my mind and help me unwind. Some of these things are, going on long walks, climbing, cooking or baking for my friends, and reading (right now it’s the Dune series). My research interests lie within the field of differential equations, specifically climate modelling to better our understanding of global climate patterns!

Hi, I’m Owen, and I’m running the Pħase Shift Magazine this year as VP Publications. I’m in my fourth year and I’m interested in quantum information – particularly building technology for realizing quantum computing.
Miranda Niddrie

Hi, I’m Miranda (she/her) I am a fifth year honours student majoring in physics and Biochemistry. I am currently a research assistant in the Chithrani lab, where I am researching improving the delivery of chemotherapeutic drugs to tumours by using gold nanoparticles as drug delivery vehicles. The goal behind this research is to reduce toxic effects to non cancerous tissues. Outside of school and the lab, I love to explore nature, hang out with my cat, and dabble in the realm of gluten free baking—I am currently obsessed with baking sourdough bread! This is my second year as VP Merchandise and I am excited for what the year can bring! 🙂

Hello there! I’m Amith, VP of technology this year. This my first time as an exec and my role mainly involves maintaining the Phasers website. I’m in my fourth year of Physics honours program. I also have some research experience in medical physics. Outside school, I love to read or hang out with my friends. Hi, I’m Roan. I am in my 4th year as a combined Physics and Astronomy Major. I recently finished an 8-month co-op at TRIUMF, working in the theory group. Outside of school, I like to play soccer and hang out with friends and family.

Hi I’m Lauren! I am a fourth year physics & astronomy student. This summer I was studying metallicities of metal-poor stars in ultra-faint dwarf galaxies. Outside of school I enjoy participating in triathlons, spending time with friends and baking.
