Hi I’m Kayle (pronounced like kale). I am in my fifth, and hopefully final, year of a physics and astronomy undergrad. This is my third year as Phasers president and have had the most fantastic time working with all of our amazing executives to make our course union better and better each year. In my spare time I love to visit cafes, vegetate with my friends, design fun digital art and go rollerskating and paddle boarding! However, most of my time is spent at school, usually in the Elliott 4th floor lounge. So feel free to come say hi if you spot me!

Hello! I’m Ash, a third year honours physics and astronomy student and VP Events. I’m also the Undergraduate Representative of the Canadian Association of Physicists’, and sit on the physics department EDI committee here at UVic. My physics interests lie in experimental particle physics, and I’m involved in the incredible UVic collaboration. Besides physics, I love reading (especially sci-fi!), music, and being outdoors. Hello there! My name is Kyle and my pronouns are he/him, and I’m in my third year of physics here at UVic. As editor-in-chief of the newsletter, Phase Shift, my role is to oversee and facilitate the creation of content and the publishing team. My area of interest in physics is medical physics and outside of school I enjoy reading, watching film and television, being outdoors and spending time with my amazing friends and family.

Hi! I’m Miranda (she/her), a 4th year Physics and Biochemistry student. When I’m not studying, I enjoy going for walks, spending time outdoors, crocheting, and hanging out with my adorable kitten, Cosmo. This is my first year as an executive member of PHASERS (VP merchandise), and I’m excited about what this role could bring. Hey! I’m Iain, the VP Tech for this year at Phasers. I’m a Physics & Astronomy student going into my 3rd year here at UVic! I love cycling, looking at the night sky, and coffee. I also run the Phasers Minecraft Server!

Hi I’m Ollie, the VP Finance this year. I’m in charge of making sure we can fund the events and activities that Phasers puts on throughout the year. In my free time, I read, drink tea, sail, and hang out with my wife.

Czarina is Phasers VP Marketing for a second year in a row. She is currently finishing her last year at UVic, and will be graduating with a combined Physics and Astronomy degree in the spring. When she’s not studying or promoting Phasers events, you can find her spending time at home with her 3 cats (Tattoo, Penelope, and Miso Soup), or hanging out with friends.
